Urban Resilience Project

The first stage of S05 project studies revealed that the Dhaka planning system is a compound and fragmented system that becomes more complex with overlapping tasks and a large number of stakeholders. However, this report attempts to identify the several dimensions of this system and then to identify potential entry points for DRR. In this regard, development plans, rules and regulations, institutions, etc. were assessed as various aspects of the Dhaka planning system and entry points were identified for mainstreaming DRR.
