Urban Resilience Project seeks to create and enabling environment for centrally coordinated and locally managed Disaster Risk Management (DRM). Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) is implementing Urban Resilience Project: RAJUK Part funded by World Bank. It is important to note that this is one of the most important ongoing projects of Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. By implementing this project, Bangladesh especially Capital Development Authority of Bangladesh (RAJUK) will be able to address the Earthquake risk significantly and also Dhaka, Capital City of Bangladesh will be monitored by Active Resilience Unit which will work efficiently to address the risk of emergency events Earthquake, Fire Hazards, Building Collapse.
