This report provides the results of a city-wide geotechnical investigation based on Seismic Cone Penetration Test (SCPT). The Seismic Cone Penetration Test (SCPT) is an in-situ test to determine the velocity of primary (P) and secondary (S) seismic waves which provides the dynamic elastic small-strain soil parameters. The P and S wave velocities, determined according to ASTM D7400, are used in geotechnical foundation analysis, static and dynamic soil analysis, liquefaction triggering potential assessment etc.
