This Volume 4 of the Project S-09 report titled: Proposed Program for Building Code and Construction Code Enforcement contains the checklists mentioned in Chapter 6, Volume 2 of the “report”. This volume is divided into two parts: the first part contains Plan Review checklists and Inspection checklists are in the second part.
The spread of COVID-19 has resulted in a growing need among many building departments in the United States for the ability to perform inspections (and other aspects of the permitting process) from remote locations. To respond to this need, the International Code Council (ICC) has published Recommended Practices for Remote Virtual Inspection (RVI). The document addresses the implementation and administration of RVI and provides recommended practices to construction industry professionals to conduct such inspections. This document is placed at the end of Part 2, with permission from the ICC, as being of possible interest and use in Bangladesh
