At the primary stage of the outreach, a strategy was formulated for the effective execution of the public awareness and education campaign in a participatory, inclusive, and sustainable manner. Partnership, collaboration, and networking were established with relevant policy institutions, civil society organizations, and print and electronic media to anchor the outreach. Multi-channel communications were applied and different stakeholders were engaged in the outreach process to ensure participation by different age groups, genders, occupations, and socio-economic groups. Electronic media (television and radio) were utilized to convey the key messages related to BNBC-2020 to a larger population within RAJUK’s jurisdiction as well as other cities in the country within a short period of time.
