Urban Resilience Project

This report presents a comprehensive construction permitting process assessment, with the purpose of further informing the to-be framework and the electronic construction permitting (ECP) system strategic plan. This assessment uses information collected about the as-is processes and current legal and regulatory environment, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) status, and human resources capacity to form a baseline and develop recommendations for the business operational design and associated elements. While the scope of the assessment is generally limited to the processes surrounding construction permitting, other elements related to resilience topics, digitizing services, and sustainability of the construction permitting processes necessitate that the core functions, electronics inventories, finances, and the legal mandate of RAJUK be investigated as well.
